USTA Registration for Junior Team Tennis
Hello Jr. Team Tennis Captains,
We would like to express our gratitude, to all former and new Captains, for all of your time and energy you have invested or will be investing into the EVTA Jr. Team Tennis program. With all of you wonderful captains working behind the scenes, we know this coming up season will be great!! We would like to introduce and welcome our new EVTA Jr. Team Tennis Coordinator, Terence Billings. He will be the person to go to with any questions regarding the season. Below is some very important information for the upcoming season.
Fall Jr. Team Tennis for the following ages
8 & 10 under QuickStart
12 & under Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced
14 & 18 under Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced
Age Eligibility: Players must be age eligible through August 31, 2011
Play dates/times: Saturdays at 1 PM for all levels
Registration Begins: July 19, 2010
Registration Deadline: October 1, 2010 (all teams must be entered & players registered)
Play Begins: Saturday October 16, 2010
Cost per player: $36.00 – includes shirt, awards & player party!
New this season: Players will be allowed to play in 2 divisions (for example, both 8U and 10 U QuickStart, or both 10U QuickStart and 12U beginners)
Captains will be forming their own teams. Please email Terence Billings to find out details regarding setting up your team on TennisLink and other information regarding captaining a team.
If you have a player who is not “recruited” for a team, sign the player up & he/she will be placed on a team!
