EVTA MEETING March 1, 2010  

Attendence: Katie Snow, Brenda Chitwood, Jacquelyn Brennan, Cassidy Bruce, Shannon Nichols,                                          Mysti Lancaster, Mary Lou Lovely  

Greivance Committee         -Margie Patton, Kathy Hix, and Donna Johnson have agreed to serve    -Any USTA complaints must go to this committee    -The board will suppy the committee with updated rules--Cassidy will type and send to EVTA committee to approve at next meeting   

Appeals Committee       -Volonteers needed  

Rottary Tournament       -Friday 5:00PM-9:00PM-- Shannon, Mary Lou will work     -Saturday 9:00AM-- Jacquelyn, Katie, Mary Lou will work     -Sunday 9:00AM-5:00PM--Katie, Brenda to cover     -Presently 110 entries  

Scoreboards       -New scoreboards received     -Decal saying sponsored by EVTA being placed on each  

Grants       -Grant Approved for laptop for Shannon     -Jacquelyn presented new requirements for 2011

EVTA Name Change       -Legally EVTA is Cartersville Tennis Association     -Mary Lou is in the process of officially changing the name to Etowah Valley Tennis Associaiton  

EVTA Contributions       -$250 check contributed to retirement fund for couach Karen Ruff- A flagpole and bronze marker in her honor installed at Dellinger Park     -Other items discussed- placing ball holder trays at Hamilton Park
