Team Captains are the reason our teams keep showing up, playing hard, and loving every minute on the court. A great Captain brings the energy—cheering teammates on, showing awesome sportsmanship, and creating a fun, fair environment for everyone. That kind of leadership is what keeps teams strong and thriving! Additionally, Captains are honored with an end-of-year dinner to celebrate your commitment and success.

Think being a Captain sounds complicated or time-consuming? Think again! The truth is, the best Captains know how to keep things simple. And that’s exactly what makes tennis fun, easygoing, and something everyone looks forward to.

As a team captain, your main responsibilities include deciding on the line-ups for each match and making sure your team provides balls when you're the Home Team. You'll also need to share important information and schedules with your players to keep everyone in the loop. After each match, you'll work with the opposing captain to complete the scorecards, and then enter the final scores into Tennis Link.

Creating a team is easy—and as a bonus, Team Captains play for free (you’ll only pay a $3.15 TennisLink fee)!
